Tim's work reflects his interest in the resonance of memory and the passage of time, he is also concerned with the depicton of landscape. Language and symbol play an important part in his representation of the world as he experiences it.

He builds up layers of colour and texture in order to mirror the the continual process of change and weathering which effects all natural and man-made objects.
