PRESS RELEASE ART 3 PROUDLY PRESENTS 'FROM THE SLIP TO THE WALL The work of three diverse photographers, Carlos Dominguez, Mark Thomas and Patrick Gorman is brought together in one exhibition on... at the Wine Gallery, Hollywood Road, SW10 Carlos Dominguez operates within the related domains of Architecture & interiors. His work can often portray the feeling of claustrophobia, with the viewer looking up at tall postmodern structures of steel and glass from street level that reflect wealth and commerce of contemporary European cities. The locations frequently adhere to Mediterranean locations of vibrant clear blue skies, which stray into abstract compositions of form and colour, via Carlos's frequent discard of the horizon line. The Modern European metropolis is also the whereabouts of Mark Thomas's subway photographs, on the move. So far including Prague and Moscow. Mark hones in on the colourful interiors of post communist transport. Despite Mark's work being about movement and communication, his description of a human presence is often through the single figure, which can of course be construed as the vacuum of the individual in the urban environment. With Carlos itıs about buildings and for Mark it's often anonymous people in buildings. To round things off with triangular equilibrium, Patrick Gorman's work concentrates on people. His subjects are often taken from the creative arts such as Actors, Musicians & Writers. Patrick is drawn towards mavericks and unusual behaviour, and strives hard to capture the omnipresent angst, ego, intense concentration, and temperamental nature of his subjects

"At our Business Breakfast Meetings, we attract a wide, diverse range of business professionals who all share a common goal of generating more business for one another. We only allow 1 person per profession to join a group. This ensures we lock out competitors and helps us to build a strong, solid relationship with one another. Teams often form within the business group and the 'Creative' team is a good example of where the photographer, graphic designer, printer & PR consultant (to mention just a few professions), all work together on the same project for a 3rd party contact. Business also crosses between the groups and this exhibition is a reflection on how 3 photographers have come together, all with different specialities". By
