Since 2001/02 (the exact date is 'up for grabs') Art 3 organised around 50 art exhibitions at the at the Wine Gallery in Chelsea. From the middle of 2005 this expanded to encompass other projects such as 'East in 2 West @ The Alma Enterprises Gallery, E2, our collaboration with Escape and The Sun and Doves for Twisted, Cognitive, Sublime and 'Never Be Seen' at The Baxter Gallery, Kingston-upon-Thames over December 2006 & January 2007.
Pete Mountford, Jane Stothert. and Mary Paterson. ceased the shows at The Wine Gallery in February 2007. They were involved in too many other projects both individually and collectively. It is a natural end to 5 very exciting years and this website will remain as an archive and will also develop as new exhibitions and projects start to happen. The Wine Gallery/Brinkley's as a restaurant can still be found here as before. We don't know if they still show art or indeed what goes on their walls, but interested artists best contact them directly
Who we are/ where we live
A collaborative art project
Below are the list of all the Art 3 shows between 1 October 2001 and 25 February 2007. the majority of these have been held at The Wine Gallery. to clarify Art 3 was not officially launched until March 2002, so the first four shows do not come under that umbrella (although the very first one '3 Forms of Colour', exhibits the work of the 3 original Directors so it 'sort of' counts as an Art 3 show). This website was not around until October 2003 so most of the links to pages come after that date, although many earlier shows are featured on the main page . Likewise the private view images (PV pics) are only documented from January 2004 onwards.
